Head of Philanthropic Partnerships & Marketing
Annie's career spans nearly two decades, from launching and scaling fintech start-ups that became global industry leaders — some Nasdaq-listed, some backed by Nordic Capital private equity, others privately held — to empowering refugees through economic participation today. As Head of Philanthropic Partnerships and Marketing at Thrive, Annie works to unlock potential, especially for women, by helping create accessible pathways into entrepreneurship and employment. She does this in partnership with funders across government, philanthropy, and the settlement, corporate and private sectors. As the daughter of migrants, the challenges faced by people from culturally diverse and migrant backgrounds resonate with Annie personally.
Since 2017 Annie has brought that same start-up experience into the not-for-profit and social impact sector, helping build two ventures; Save the Children Global Ventures and the Gomo Foundation, alongside her work with Save the Children Australia. Earlier in her career, Annie held senior marketing roles in publishing and film, with Heinemann, Penguin Random House, HarperCollins and AACTA.
